There were many blacksmith’s shops in Mislinja as the abundance of water sources made it easy for forges to operate. The forges created many tools for farming and forestry, while iron was produced in the local ironworks. The Robnik blacksmith’s shop is preserved to this day and has many tools on display, e.g. a water powered hammer. They used to create farming and forestry tools as well as forge carriages and shoe oxen and horses.
